Just spent the evening rushing from family to family, trying to get as much 'Christmas' time in with each one and tomorrow will be more of the same.
Now I am home. In my penguin pjs. Watching an old movie, White Christmas. I am enjoying all of the vintage style of this movie...not to mention the singing and the dancing--wow! I can't believe I've never seen it before.

This movie has a special place in my story. When I got engaged on Christmas Eve nineteen years ago we were at my in-laws. When I woke up in the morning, he was still sleeping and I was wondering how to tell his parents. I sat and watched this movie with them, with my ring tucked into my long sleeve, while the movie got more and more romantic. The thing is I forgot what movie it had been for years, until he bought me an old copy of the tv listings for that year so I could look it up for myself!
