The Year of the Bang

When blogger Joanna at a Cup of Jo asked the question: Do or Don't Bangs, I started thinking about what a great blog post this would make.  The New York times even had a recent article about bangs this year: Bangs are Back.

Before I had bangs I never ever considered getting them. Then I noticed a few trendy bloggers had bangs and I noticed how cute they were on long brown hair and I woke up one morning and decided to just go for it. I haven't really looked back since. Until now:

BANGS!

This was the first day I had my bangs.

 

I really love my bangs now that I have my glasses!

While they do require a bit of upkeep, I tend to keep them a little longer in the summer so I can sweep them to the side. The worst enemies to great bangs are sweat and wind....other than that, I have really loved my experience so far. Also, Zooey came along and gave me some street cred.
